This sand scoop’s sifting basket is 5" in diameter. Strong 1/2" wire welded screen is brazed to the bucket. The handle is 14" long & brazed to the bucket at a 20° pull angle. This angle makes it easy to dig in sand. A soft rubber hand grip is placed at the end of the handle for comfort. A great scoop to use in both wet and dry sand. Easy to use and lightweight. Made in the U.S.A.
Add a SUPER MAGNET
These surplus magnets have a tremendous amount of energy for their size which is 1 1/4 inches long, 3/4" wide and 7/16" high. They attach themselves inside any steel sand scoop and snag any iron present. This magnet attached to a steel digging tool can easily pick up a 25 pound steel ball. You have seen these in detecting books and videos. Snags small nails, hair pins, and other small iron items that can fall through the holes in your sand scoop.
